Having fun at the Louvre

Tuileries Gardens

The Tuileries Gardens offer a number of play areas and activities for small children and families, located between the Concorde gate and the 'Grand Carré'.

Little Boats: the ponds of the Tuileries Gardens feature a delightful fleet of small, multi-colored sail boats. Each child gets their own sailing boat and stick with which to steer it freely around the pond.

Trampolines: Near the Terrasse des Feuillants and the big octagonal pond, play areas with trampolines are a chance for children of all ages to work off their excess energy.

The carousel: designed for smaller children, this traditional merry-go-round is located under the trees of the Grand Couvert, near the Esplanade des Feuillants.
