Master drawings from the Louvre's Italian collection
In 1806, Dominique-Vivant Denon, the Louvre's first director, constituted one of the most comprehensive collections of Florentine drawings. Sixty of these masterpieces are presented to coincide with the publication of Volume II of the "Inventaire des Dessins Toscans du XVIe au XVIIIe Siècle".
