Princess and Romantic Artist

Marie d’Orléans, princess and Romantic artist, epitomizes the ideals of the age in which she lived. Armed with a solid, open-minded education by her father King Louis-Philippe, she developed a passionate interest in the arts and took up drawing and sculpture herself.
