You can make a donation toward:

For example, €100 will pay for two hours of artwork restoration.
• Artistic and cultural education
With €80, a class from a priority education zone benefits from an educational workshop at the Louvre
• The pressing needs of the museum at the time

There are three quick and easy ways to make a donation:

An online donation via the museum’s secure platform
A donation by check, by downloading the corresponding form
A donation by bank transfer, by downloading the corresponding form

Regardless of the amount, 66% of your donation is eligible for an income tax deduction. If this deduction exceeds 20% of your taxable income, the excess can be carried forward for five years.
For example, a €100 donation really only costs €34 since you benefit from a €66 tax deduction.
Regardless of the amount of your donation, you will receive special benefits in thanks from the museum (free subscription to Coulisses, the e-newsletter for donors, private tours of the museum, personal acknowledgements on the Louvre website, etc.).

You can also dedicate your online donation to a friend or loved one. This person’s name will appear in the list of people to whom the museum would like to pay tribute and express its thanks.

Donating from abroad

You are an American resident and wish to support the Louvre: the American Friends of the Louvre was created in 2002 to strengthen ties between the museum and its English-speaking visitors and help overseas donors support the museum.

You are a European resident and wish to support the Louvre: Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) enables individual and corporate donors to benefit from tax advantages on their donations to the Louvre.
