Ingres 1780–1867

Suitable for disabled visitors  Suitable for children  Suitable for schoolchildren and teachers  Suitable for groups

A retrospective of Ingres’ works, comprising eighty paintings and eighty drawings, offers a unique opportunity to discover this celebrated exponent of neoclassicism. Delacroix’s great rival, he was a passionate, sensual artist with quasi-revolutionary ideas.

Exhibition made possible with the support of AGF (Assurance Générales de France) and with the participation of the Musée Ingres (Montauban)
