For Love of Delacroix : The Karen B. Cohen Collection

Musée Eugène-Delacroix
The Musée Eugène-Delacroix in Paris exhibits about a hundred of the artist’s works, purchased by the American collector Karen B. Cohen, before the majority of them joined the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

On this exceptional occasion, these diverse works, comprising paintings, sketchbooks and large murals, once again hang on the walls they adorned until 1864. They offer a summary of the artist’s career seen through the prism of a singular collection.
Curator(s) : Christophe Leribault, head of Musée Eugène-Delacroix
