The Louvre’s new audio guide offers over 35 hours of audio content. In lively and informal on-the-spot interviews, the museum’s curators and lecturers share their expert knowledge of the Louvre and its artworks.
Notice: The “Masterpieces” tour and “Egypt” family tour on the audio guide are temporarily unavailable due to renovations at the Sully entrance. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

How to rent a Louvre-Nintendo 3DS ™ XL Audio Guide:
The Louvre Audio Guide can be rented at the museum’s ticket desks and ticket machines.
You’ll be given a coupon to exchange at the Audio Guide counters, where you’ll receive your Guide on presentation of proof of identity (ID card, passport, etc).
There are four Audio Guide counters: one in front of the Group Reception area (“Accueil des groupes”) under the Pyramid, and three at the top of the escalators leading to the museum’s three main entrances (Denon, Sully, and Richelieu)
The counter attendants will show you how to make the best use of this new Audio Guide.

The Louvre-Nintendo 3DS ™ XL Audio Guide does not take game cartridges and cannot be used outside the museum.
