14th International Conference for Nubian Studies

The Musée du Louvre and Sorbonne University are co-hosting the 14th International Conference for Nubian Studies in Paris from September 10 to 15, 2018. Conference sessions will be held in the Musée du Louvre Auditorium and at the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art, which are connected by the Jardins du Palais-Royal.

Held every four years since 1972, the conference brings together archaeologists, epigraphists, historians, and other scholars working on the ancient and modern history of Sudan, Nubia, and Egypt, from prehistory to the 19th century.
