Exhibition Dreaming and drawing
from February 17, 2005 to May 16, 2005
Reveries on paper, from the 16th century to the present day
Modern and contemporary drawings from the collection of France's Musée Nationale d'Art Moderne are compared and contrasted with 16th- and 17th-century Italian drawings from the Louvre's collection.
The exhibition explores the relationship between drawing techniques and the depiction of dreams and dreaming.
