Learn about the Louvre’s history on a tour through the rooms of this palace-museum. Along the way, you will discover the Louvre of the Middle Ages as well as great masterpieces like the Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Venus de Milo. Make the most of your day at the museum by participating in the Q&A session following the end of this introductory tour.
PLEASE NOTE: From 17 July until October 2019, the Mona Lisa will be displayed in room 801 (Richelieu wing) while renovations are being carried out. Therefore, the painting is not included in this tour.
Every day at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. (except Tuesdays)
Every Wednesday at 7 p.m.
In July and August:
Every day at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. (except Tuesdays and public holidays)
Every Wednesday and Friday at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m.

Full price €12, reduced price €9
Visitors paying a full-price ticket will also need to buy an admission ticket to the Musée du Louvre: €15 at the museum ticket area / €17 online at www.ticketlouvre.fr
For €26, the combined ticket includes admission to the permanent collections and a guided tour.
The tour departs from the Group Reception Area under the Pyramid. Opening hours: 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (until 9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays)
