The Louvre audio guide on Nintendo console offers a selection of over 600 commentaries recorded in the museum. In lively and informal on-the-spot interviews, curators and official guides share their expert knowledge of the palace and its artworks.

The audio guide is available in 7 languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, and Korean.

Your position will be indicated on the screen of the console. You can zoom in and out, check which level you are on, and see which part of the museum you are in.
If you decide to listen to one of the tours, you will also be shown directions on the console screen.

Rent an audio guide in the museum
You can rent a Louvre audio guide from the museum’s ticket windows and automatic machines.
Collecting audio guides
Take your audio guide ticket to one of the four distribution counters: Group Reception Area under the Pyramid; top of the escalators leading to each of the three main entrances to the collections (Denon, Sully, and Richelieu).
You will be asked to leave proof of ID (ID card, passport, etc.) as a deposit.

The Nintendo consoles at the Louvre are not compatible with game cards and cannot be used outside the museum.
