This presentation focuses on the changes at the Iraq Museum from 2023 to the present. It looks at the museum’s renewal, restoration work, and cultural activities. It also covers the conservation and recovery of Iraqi artefacts from within Iraq and abroad, the revival of archaeological work, and the development of new exhibitions for the public. The focus is the role of young professionals who are now helping to lead the museum and improve its work, despite many challenges. It also highlights cooperation with the Louvre Museum, ALIPH, UNESCO, and WMF in the reopening of the Mosul Museum, which was severely damaged in 2014, including the restoration of the building, the conservation of artefacts, and the training of museum staff. It also includes the opening of new museums in the governorates such as the Maysan Museum and the Anbar Museum.
