The purpose of the Competition is to collect photographs of the Louvre palace, the Carrousel Garden or the Musée du Louvre rooms, posted on Instagram by visitors, and to choose a selection to display during the ‘Louvre/Photo’ temporary exhibition, in accordance with the criteria defined in Article 4.

Article 2: Terms and conditions of participation

The Competition is open to individuals of any nationality who are over the French age of majority on the date of their participation, hereinafter referred to individually as the ‘Participant’ or collectively as the ‘Participants’. Each Participant must have Internet access, an email address and a public Instagram account. Private Instagram accounts are not eligible.

Should it deem it necessary, the Organiser is entitled to request supporting documents at any time in order to verify that terms and conditions of participation are met. Any Participant who does not fulfil these conditions or who refuses to provide supporting documents within one (1) week of the request being made will be excluded from the Competition.

Participation in the Competition is free of charge.

Article 3: Means of participation

In order to participate in the Competition, Participants must post one or more photographs which meet the criteria stipulated in Article 4, using a public Instagram account, and add the hashtag #LouvrePhoto and a title to each photograph.
