In line with the measures taken by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Musée du Louvre and Musée National Eugène Delacroix remain closed until further notice. All those who have purchased a ticket for this period will automatically receive a refund—no action is required.

When to visit

Musée du Louvre

  • Closed
    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Last entry: 1 hour before closing

Clearing of rooms: 30 minutes before closing

Public holidays: the Louvre is closed on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December. It remains open on all other public holidays unless they fall on a Tuesday, the museum’s day of closure.

Tuileries Garden

  • 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM
