Her smile is the most famous on the planet: much spoken of, stolen, copied and reinterpreted, the Mona Lisa is an icon that has fascinated the world for nearly four centuries. Beyond fake mysteries and clichés, what does this portrait truly reveal? Find out at the Palais de la Bourse in Marseille, from 10 March to 21 August 2022.
Grand Palais Immersif and the Musée du Louvre invite visitors to rediscover this masterpiece in an unprecedented interactive and sensory experience. From the Louvre’s Salle des États, where the painting is on display today, to Leonardo da Vinci’s Renaissance works, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey through time to help them understand the work’s tremendous fame. Huge projected images that move with the rhythm of the crowd and novel interactive displays bring people to the heart of this legendary portrait.
An intimate, face-to-face experience with the painting, its details and its history, the exhibition is a unique opportunity to get up close like never before to try and grasp its essence and better understand the genius of its author.

As part of the landmark exhibition Leonardo da Vinci (24 October 2019 - 24 February 2020), the Louvre will present the museum’s first virtual reality (VR) experience, in partnership with HTC VIVE Arts, which will bring to life the story of the Mona Lisa, da Vinci’s most famous masterpiece.

The conservation treatment of the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, funded by the 2018 'Become a Patron!' campaign, began in November 2022 and will be completed before the summer of 2024. This restoration aims to return the monument to its former glory.
