Bulk ticket sales

Following a decision by the Musée du Louvre Board of Directors on November 17, 2017, tickets will no longer be sold in bulk (more than 20 tickets) as of December 22, 2017.

Unaccompanied visitors are invited to use the online ticketing service to purchase a maximum of 6 tickets.
Any bulk tickets you have already purchased remain valid for one year.

Reservation guidelines

All supervised groups of 7 to 25 people must purchase tickets and pay a reservation fee to reserve a time slot.

See the section on Practical Information for Groups & Schools.

Please adhere to the reservation schedule dates listed on the site.

Supervised group time slots are paid when the order is placed. Reserve online or call +33 (0)1 40 20 57 60 from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Museum entrances
- Passage Richelieu (self-guided groups and membership cardholders)
- Carrousel du Louvre—towards the parking garage, the shopping center at 101 Rue de Rivoli, or the Metro (self-guided groups)
- Porte des Lions (for leaders of self-guided groups completing their registration and for groups visiting the Louvre with an official museum guide).

Supervised group leaders must present their confirmation ticket at the group reception area (Porte des Lions) to validate their reservation.

The Porte des Lions entrance closes at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday when the museum is open late. During late-night openings, self-guided groups are invited to entry the museum via the Passage Richelieu or the Galerie du Carrousel. Group leaders are to go to the tour ticket windows under the Pyramid beforehand to pay a flat fee and receive a sticker giving permission to speak aloud.
