Purchased tickets for individual visitors and groups of visitors with reservations for time slots after 2:00 p.m. during this period will be automatically refunded to the account used for payment.

Tax relief

Taxpayers in France
Private donors to the Louvre in France are entitled to claim an income tax deduction equivalent to 66% of the amount of their donation. If this deduction exceeds 20% of the donor's taxable income, the remainder can by carried over for the next five fiscal years.


Taxpayers in Europe 
Private donors to the Louvre in Europe can benefit from tax relief in the country where they are fiscally resident via Transnational Giving Europe (TGE), a network of accredited national foundations. Partner countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom


Taxpayers in the United States
Private donors to the Louvre in the US can benefit from tax relief through American Friends of the Louvre.


Taxpayers in Canada 
Via Myriad Canada, le musée du Louvre offre la réduction fiscale canadienne à ses donateurs particuliers. 


Taxpayers in Japan and Hong Kong
Private donors to the Louvre in Japan and Hong Kong can benefit from tax relief through the France-Asia Foundation.
