The Louvre is carrying out some major maintenance and renovation work to make the visitor experience as comfortable and positive as possible. As a result, some of the museum rooms have to be periodically closed. In addition, some rooms may need to be closed for weather-related or technical reasons.

On Wednesdays and Fridays, rooms on Level 2 will open at 10:30 a.m.

On 22, 27, 28, and 29 December 2025, as well as on 3 January 2026, the museum will be open until 9 p.m. We cannot ensure complete access to all galleries during these special late-night openings.
