Public holidays: the Louvre is closed on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December. It remains open on all other public holidays unless they fall on a Tuesday, the museum’s day of closure.
The Cour Carrée closes at 11pm.

Summer 2025 garden's opening hours:
As the Olympic and Paralympic Cauldron returns to the Tuileries Garden from 21 June to 14 September 2025, the garden’s opening hours will undergo the following changes:
- from 22 June to 31 July: closing at 10:30 p.m.
- from 1 to 31 August: closing at 9:30 p.m.
- from 1 to 14 September: closing at 8:30 p.m.
The garden opens to visitors every day at 7 a.m., but the Cauldron area will only be accessible from 10 a.m. Visitors will be asked to clear the Cauldron area 1 hour before the garden closes.

Exceptional closure: The Musée Delacroix will be closed from 24 June to 1 July 2025.
New opening hours from 2 July 2025: The Musée Delacroix will open to individual visitors from Monday to Friday, 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The museum is closed on Tuesdays and on 25 December, 1 May and 1 January.

A ticket gives you access to the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions of the Louvre, as well as to the Eugène-Delacroix National Museum the same day and the day after your visit of the Louvre museum. The Musée Delacroix will be closed from 24 June to 1 July 2025.
In order to ensure the most enjoyable visit for everyone, reservations are required from 19 June to 31 August.
