With your comfort in mind, the Musée du Louvre offers a host of services to guarantee a quality visit.
A reception team at the main information desks located below the Pyramid is available to inform and advise you on museum news, services and operations.
Loan of equipment
Walking sticks, folding stools, strollers, baby carriers, and wheelchairs are available free of charge from the visitor assistance area (located beneath the Pyramid) in exchange for a piece of ID (or, in the case of folding stools, on presentation of a Louvre copyist’s card). Loaned equipment may not be taken out of the museum.
The museum is not fully covered by Wi-Fi, but you’ll find Wi-Fi hotspots for free Internet access throughout your visit.
Self-service lockers are available free of charge beneath the Pyramid.
PLEASE NOTE: any items exceeding 55 x 35 x 20 cm are not permitted in the museum.
All items left in lockers must be collected the same day. The Musée du Louvre is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

There are twelve pay phones located beneath the escalators leading to the Denon, Sully, and Richelieu wings. One of them (beneath the Sully escalators) is intended for use by disabled visitors.
Underground parking garage
The parking area is open every day from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., and is accessible from the avenue du Général Lemonnier. It has spaces for 620 cars and 75 coaches. Various types of tickets are available.
The Carrousel Garden will reopen on Saturday, May 30, and the Tuileries Garden on Sunday, May 31.
