In line with measures taken by the French government to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Musée du Louvre and Musée National Eugène Delacroix will remain closed up until and including May 18.

Reopening

The museum will reopen on May 19. To welcome you under the best possible conditions, all visitors, including those entitled to free admission, must book a time slot. Bookings can be done through the online ticketing service starting the afternoon of May 12.

    Le musée du Louvre et le @museedelacroix ouvriront leurs portes le mercredi 19 mai après plus de 6 mois de fermeture !

    🖼 Dès le 19 mai, vous pourrez à nouveau visiter nos collections permanentes et découvrir les expositions qui ont pu être prolongées : « Le Corps et l’âme. De Donatello à Michel-Ange. Sculptures de la Renaissance italienne » jusqu’au 21 juin et « Figure d’artiste » à la Petite Galerie, jusqu’au 5 juillet. Au musée Delacroix, l’exposition « Un duel romantique, le Giaour de Lord Byron par Delacroix » est prolongée jusqu’au 23 août.

    ➡ Pour vous accueillir dans les meilleures conditions, la réservation d’un créneau horaire sera obligatoire, y compris pour les bénéficiaires de la gratuité. La billetterie du musée rouvrira le mercredi 12 mai après-midi.

    😷 Le port du masque sera obligatoire pour les visiteurs de plus de 11 ans et pour le personnel du musée, dans le respect des normes sanitaires.

    The Louvre and the @museedelacroix will reopen their doors on May 19, after more than 6 months of closure!

    🖼 From that day, you will be able to visit the museums’ rooms and to discover the exhibitions that have been extended: “Body and Soul. Italian Renaissance Sculpture from Donatello to Michaelangelo” until June 21, and “The Advent of the Artist” until July 5. The exhibition “A Romantic Duel, Delacroix’s Fascination for "The Giaour" by Lord Byron” is extended until August 23 at the Musée Delacroix.
