Seen in the garden

This small passerine is observed during its autumn and spring migratory stopovers. It migrates at night, resting and feeding in parks and gardens during the day.

The Chiffchaff is an active, difficult-to-spot bird. It can be glimpsed in trees and shrubs, unlike the Eurasian Wren, which stays near the ground.

In winter, it frequently joins tits to search for food.
