Did you know?

The species flies over Paris each year on its pre- and/or post-breeding migration.
Its plumage is hard to see on the ground, providing it with camouflage. This allows it to blend into the landscape and stave off predator attacks. The Eurasian Skylark’s flight song can last over ten minutes uninterrupted, with as many as 400 notes per second!
