Le saviez-vous ?

The numbers of this species are rising in Paris, with between 400 and 550 breeding pairs.
Its Latin name means ‘cave-dweller’, perhaps due to its habit of foraging in crevices, and building nests in nooks and crannies of trees, walls, etc.
